Mission & Vision
One Can Help provides the missing resources at-risk youth, foster children and underserved families involved in the juvenile court and/or child welfare systems urgently need to address concerns, improve difficult lives and build better futures.
By quickly providing the individualized resources that meet the specific needs of children in crisis, we help overcome poverty barriers and encourage positive steps forward.

History
One Can Help (OCH) was created in 2006 by juvenile court attorneys and social workers who understood that poverty and justice were very much intertwined and wanted to ensure that this very vulnerable population (and the professionals trying to help them) could access the urgently needed basic items and services that were not available elsewhere.

2022 Annual Report
Thanks to our numerous donors both large and small, and to all the attorneys and social workers who make the effort to apply to OCH so their most vulnerable clients can have the resources they need to take that next positive step forward, we have helped more than 10,000 children (plus parents and other caregivers) since 2006. 2,541 children in just 2022!

2021 Annual Report
During Covid, we initially saw a dramatic increase in urgent requests for basic needs, such as groceries and warm clothes, to support children home full time from school, laptops to access education, court hearings and virtual visitation for families separated
by foster care or treatment.
