About Your Donation
95% of your donation goes towards helping the children and families we serve. Please contact us at info-at-onecanhelp.org with questions.
Make an IMMEDIATE difference in a child’s life.
Here is how your donation can help:
$80 can pay for a train pass … so a child in a distant treatment program can receive regular visits from her mother who otherwise couldn’t afford the trip.
$150 can pay enough of the cost of a parenting class … so a young father can access the program and learn better discipline approaches.
$400 can pay a late gas bill … so a family with young children can stay warm and get back on their feet.
$800 can pay for a month of summer camp … keeping a young teen supervised and off the streets.

I can’t even begin to explain how valuable and truly essential the support that One Can Help provides is to our clients. I’ve been moved to tears by their generosity and unfailing support. I am a social worker and work with youths and families impacted by the court system. So many times the difference between success and continued struggle for these children and families is a small financial burden that cannot be met anywhere else. I’m talking simple things—like $30 for a bus pass for a teen to get to a first job, payment to a family’s electric bill to keep the lights on during a time of need, summer camp fees, cost of a moving truck rental to pick up furniture donated from an agency, clothes for a job interview, etc. All of these things are minimal—but the impact is enormous. Our clients benefit in so many ways from this assistance and it wouldn’t be possible without One Can Help. And on a selfish note from the social worker side of things, they make the process so incredibly simple and fast to minimize the hurdle even more. I truly do not know what I’d do without them and am forever grateful!”
