- Bus fare for a young mother to visit her baby, who has been placed in foster care several towns away while she successfully completes a drug treatment program. Now she won’t face termination of parental rights because she couldn’t afford to visit her child regularly.
- A computer for a disenfranchised teen who couldn’t complete homework assignments without it.
- Music instruments and lessons or sports equipment for teens who need a positive activity that keeps them off the streets and out of trouble.
- A transportation card for a young man, enabling him to get to job interviews and rebuild his life.
