Why become a sponsor of One Can Help? Listen to what a few court-appointed professionals have to say in a recent follow-up survey:

Because of this grant . . .

My client, a teen with severe trauma history, has done a great job learning how to trust another person. He refused to be in therapy, but was willing to work with a mentor who could skateboard with him. He has improved dramatically!

My client was able to participate in and complete a fire safety program . . . Since taking this safety course, my client has not engaged in any risky/dangerous behaviors that would occur frequently beforehand. This has kept him out of court and in school. This has also kept him and his community safe.

My client’s children were all placed with their paternal grandmother by DCF, avoiding foster care with strangers. Because of One Can Help’s grant, DCF is now fully committed to seeing the guardianship through.

My client was able to pay a back-rent penalty, preventing her eviction from her home, which would have caused significant obstacles to her son being returned to her care and custody.

My client was able to see her terminally ill child in the hospital in Boston because you paid for her train pass. Without that, she would not have been able to get there. Her child refused to let anyone else stay with her in the hospital except her mother. Thank you!

Since 2006, One Can Help has responded to more than 5,000 requests for assistance. With your support, we can help at-risk individuals in the juvenile court system improve their lives. When these children and families succeed, we all win.

With your help, we can do so much more. We welcome both financial and in-kind support from corporate sponsors, as well as foundation grants to extend our reach.
