Ms. Madsen is a trial attorney and legal trainer for the Children and Family Law Division of CPCS. Prior to joining CPCS, she practiced law in Colorado as a trial and appellate attorney in juvenile dependency and delinquency cases. She later joined the Colorado Court of Appeals as a staff attorney in its juvenile dependency division before moving back home to Massachusetts in 2019. She is passionate about family defense, justice, and developing creative solutions to help families succeed. She received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 1995; M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Lesley University in 2002; and her J.D. from the University of Colorado in 2006.
