Mission and Vision

Mission

One Can Help exists to provide the missing resources foster children, at-risk youth and underserved families urgently need to address concerns, improve difficult lives and build better futures.

Vision

One Can Help (OCH) was created by juvenile court attorneys and social workers who saw how poverty barriers affected court outcomes and wanted to help their neediest clients have an equal chance to achieve and succeed. These professionals understood that more resources needed to be made available and operationalized a way to quickly and responsibly provide them.

OCH believes that a major opportunity to meaningfully improve and enhance vulnerable lives is lost when there is state intervention but no resources to address concerns.

This is the ideal time to intervene! Children and families are in crisis. People are motivated. Stakes are high. Judicial oversight and professional services are in place. Often the only things missing are the financial resources needed to make constructive gains.

One Can Help is now providing assistance across Massachusetts.

Our Impact

One Can Help is such an essential life-changing program for the underserved youth I serve. They provide resources so families and youth can stabilize a crisis or promote long term success. This ultimately decreases the likelihood of future court involvement. This is always the resource I turn to. They exceed my expectations with how willing they are to help my client thrive and change the trajectory of their lives.”
